The Kia Soul meets a great success when its 1000th car was sold out in just 100 days in UK.
The Kia Soul was created by the Kia design team in California and, under the guidance of Peter Schreyer, was fine tuned by the design teams in Seoul and Frankfurt to create a truly global car. Due to the unique appearance, Kia Soul has fans from all over the world and it is selling nearly 4000 cars in just 3 months.
The 1000th cars that sold out, a Kia Soul Shaker 1.6-litre CRDi, was owned by a resident from West Country. The most popular model in the Kia range is the Soul 2 which makes 50 percent of the total sale whereas the Kia Soul Original is just taking over 16 percent of the sales.
Kia Motors (UK) Ltd. Managing Director, Paul Philpott, said: “Soul has been the success we hoped it would be and to hit 1,000 sales so soon in these difficult times is a credit to the quality and value of the car. The design is fresh and exciting and it is bringing new customers to our brand for the first time – it really is a Kia that turns heads.”
