Bentley Continental Supersports

bentleyThe Bentley Continental Supersports is a limited edition model of the Continental GT which was announced in February 2009. The announcement was done at the Auto Show from Geneva and it was released in late 2009, with the US presence being set for the summer of 2010.

The Continental Supersports is capable of running with the help of both biofuel and petrol. Its engine is a 6L engine with 630HP, running at 6,000 rpm. The model is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and the acceleration from 0 to 160 km/h can be done in 8.9 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 329 km/h (204 mph). These specs insure that the Continental Supersports is the most powerful car from Bentley and the fastest as well.

Supersports comes with a tiptronic automatic gearbox which allows the shifting time to be decreased considerably, with the help of the Quickshift system.

The price of a Bentley Continental Supersports model is around $280,000 in the US. [Source: Motor Trend]
