Fiat 500, A Great Road Trip Car
The summer is coming and the time for road trips is near us. Below you can read about some road trip cars which are perfect for the task.
The first one is the Fiat 500, a small car which is perfect for couples which don’t have too much money but love the open road. If you want to put more than two people in it, the back seat doesn’t allow for it, but you can put the luggage there. It’s a great car for two people and the base price starts from $15,500 and goes up to $23,500. The mileage of the car stands at 34MPG in average, with 38MPG on the highway and 30MPG in the city.
While the room on the backseat is quite limited, in the front the driver and his main passenger have plenty of space to use. The dashboard has a nice retro style which makes it quite fun to be in. The driving is good in the car and you can raise the cloth roof even if you’re driving at a speed of 60 miles per hour. [Source: CNN Money]

The Fiat 1800 appeared in 1959, offered as a 4-door sedan and a 5-door Station Wagon (Family). The 1800 model had a 6-cylinder in-line engine with 1795 cc and a power output of 75 hp / 55 kW delivered through a 4-speed transmission. Its maximum speed was, depending on the version, 137 km/h (85 mph) – 142 km/h (88 mph). This was replaced in 1961 with the 1800 model B: the engine output was now 81 hp / 60 kW and top speed between 143 km/h (89 mph) – 146 km/h (91 mph).
