Subaru BRZ – New Sports Car

Sports Design Subaru BRZ

2013 Subaru BRZ is a two-door coupe sports car that was designed and planned by Toyota and engineered by the Subaru. Its evolution dates from the time when Nissan and Alfa Romeo hooked up to produce ARNA in the 1980s. The model was built in Gun-ma plant, Japan. The BRZ is the only sports car, which has a rear drive with front engine. The box engine usually powers it. Its engine differ slightly from that of 2012 Impreza FB engine and it has about 200 hp with a 170 lb-ft. The engine through a two Aisin Six-Speed Transmission choice drives the rear wheels. One of the Aisin transmissions is conventional automatic while the other is manual. The planetary automatic one has a manual actuation through the paddles mounted on the steering wheel.

Engine Subaru BRZ

It uses the transmissions of the Lexus IS 350 and the brakes are all disc. It provides a firm drive since its Center of gravity is as lowest possible. 2013 Subaru BRZ usually stays flat along the turns with a progressive and smooth onset when pushed a little hard. The mid-range punches provided by the 2.0 liter boxer is just okay though more top-end bite could be an added advantage. Its power normally goes flat past 7000 rpm hence its teach was red-lined at 7400 rpm. The engine is quiet at first but once its gas pedal gets active, it produces a pleasing but muted throb sound. It is lightweight with a fuel-efficient engine.
