Formula 100

Formula 100People used to form some groups or bodies to protect the rights of some parties. Examples, regulatory bodies such as the FIA and Formula 1 union named Formula One Team Association (FOTA) and Grand Prix Drivers Association. Recently the team sponsors also formed an organisation called Formula 100 (F100) which used to publish their views as team sponsors.

F100 is formed by 100 members including top individuals and sponsors that support the teams and very soon, these people will have their first meeting on 1st September at the Waldorf Hilton in London. You also can see some big name there such as Richard Bracewell, GM of global sponsorship Shell, Chris Burton, VP of global Sponsorship at SAP and former F1 commentator James Allen who will will chair a panel discussion on that day.

Diring this meeting, no agency repsentative or media present are invited excepted a high powered audience. The content of this meeting will be discussion of important current issues and the minutes will be reported to F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone.

“F100 is a great concept and will allow the sponsors to both learn from each other as well as propose change for the good of the sport. The calibre of members and quality of the panellists have to be taken seriously,” said Allen.
