Volkswagen Malaysia is now adding two new Volkswagen series, the Passat CC and Scirocco in its car line up. The Passat CC is currently available at the car showroom but the Scirocco will only be available at all the showrooms starting from next week onwards. The price tag for Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TSI is RM243,888 while Volkswagen Passat CC costs slightly lower with RM239,888.
The Passat CC’s price is high than the old Passat’s with price tag of RM228,888.00. Passat CC equips with a 200 PS 2.0 liter TSI engine with turbocharging and direct injection. It does not use a DSG gearbox but mated to a 6 speed Tiptronic slushbox automatic which similar to the Tiguan. Passat CC is overall based on the Passat platform but come with a sportier roofline. It is 50mm lower to the ground and 30mm longer. An Abt kit is available for those who prefer to get a better look on the Passat CC.
The Passat CC equips with 6 air bags, ABS, traction control, stability control, and ISOFIX seat points. It has also an adaptive chassis control which adjusts the suspension damping and power steering assistance characteristic which to suit various of driving pattern.
